The CODE Players Club (2015)

(UPDATE June 2017 – The CODE has been replaced by their new players club,  Club52. I will post about the new club when I have more info)

The CODE   is the players club at SLS.  Joining The CODE gets you a free “Lucky Spin” with a chance to win up to $5000. Membership also gives you a $30 dining credit during your birthday month and access to special off-menu food and cocktails. Locals receive happy hour specials, a line pass during LIFE, Foxtail and Sayers Club Industry Nights and a Ciel Spa discount. As you can see, it is geared much more to dining and nightlife than gaming.

You earn CODE Points from slot and video poker play. CODE Points are your comps.  Earning 1 point requires:

  • $1 slot machine coin in.
  • $2  video poker coin in
  • $12 specialty machine coin in (they wouldn’t elaborate, but I’ll take that as full-pay video poker  and perhaps the e-games)

CODE Points can be converted to comps or CODEplay (freeplay). You can redeem 250 CODEPoints for $1 in  freeplay or comps. That ends up being a  0.4% return on your slot play and 0.2% on your video poker play.  While the video poker return rate has not changed, the return rate on slots was reduced from  0.66% when SLS opened.

They track table game play and give comps based on the game and your average bet.  They do not give you points or comps for room, dining and retail expenses, but they will track your expenses and give you future offers based on where you go and what you do.

The CODE   recently changed to a tiered players club. Tier levels are Select, Premium, Elite and Legend.  Tier status is good for 6 months from the time you achieve that tier. If you  don’t renew your status within 6 months, you will drop to the tier below your previous status.

You earn Tier Points from slot and video poker play. Tier Points only count towards your tier status.  Earning 3 Tier Point requires:

  • $3 slot machine coin in.
  • $1 video poker coin in

Tier benefits are:

In Las Vegas this means that it can be used at the Double Barrel Saloon and 800Degrees at the Monte Carlo in addition to the SLS restaurants. Visit the sbe Restaurants page for the full list.

The CODE is currently offering a 40% off   room rate discount for your first stay if you sign up for The CODE online. The offer is good for stays through August 31, 2015.  For additional information or to sign up online, visit The Code webpage.

  1. Had a question looking at the code tier benefits on sls’s site. The room discounts show 30% off for the premium tier, but for the elite it says RMO? As this is most likely the highest tier I will obtain, I was wondering if you knew what RMO stands for.
    Great site

    1. Thanks! I’m glad you like my site.
While I have some ideas, I don’t know exactly what they mean by ‘RMO’. I’ll stop by SLS this weekend to find out.

    2. RMO is a “Room Only” comp.
They would not specify how often you could use the Elite tier status comp. Also, the comp is only guaranteed for a single night. Additional nights would be based upon your play.
