The Foundation Room  at Mandalay Bay is one of my favorite Las  Vegas spots. Good music, food, drink and a great view of the Strip. It is a nightclub after 10pm, but if you are looking for a more relaxed, accessible way to experience it, check out their Nibbles & Sips happy hour. It runs 6p-8p Sunday-Thursday.  Lounge access is free during happy hour and they have $10 small plates/appetizers and $5 drink specials as well as the full menu and full bar.  Early in the evening it is quiet enough to hold a conversation and finding a table in the lounge or a spot at  the bar is relatively easy.

The Foundation Room is on the 63rd Floor of Mandalay Bay. Although it is the House of Blues Foundation Room, access to the Foundation Room is via elevators on the backside of the guest elevator bank,  facing the escalators to the beach level. It is not near the House of Blues.

They have a business casual dress code. “All attire is welcome with the exception of shorts, sandals, hats, sweatshirts, sports apparel, tank tops and running shoes. This dress code applies to all who enter the Foundation Room and will be strictly enforced.  Dress code for celebrities and touring talent will be at the discretion of Foundation Room management.”

You can  usually just walk up and let the club host know that you are going up for happy hour. You can also email FDRLVReservations@LiveNation.com to get on the list.
