I received an email from MGM / Mlife letting me know that they were extending the Tier Credit earning period for 2022 status by 31 days. They will count any Tier Credits earned in January 2022 towards both 2022 and 2023 status. (Quick reminder that when you earn Tier Credits, you are officially earning them towards your status for the following year).
I can understand why they wouldn’t want to simply extend your tier status for another year like they did last year, but giving me 31 more more days seems like an empty gesture. I have had minimal time in the casinos this year and have no plans to go this January. This promo certainly isn’t going to change that. If you are a few credits shy of achieving the next Mlife tier, though, I hope it helps you.
I’ve noticed that some people I talk to never charge anything to their room or are hesitant to do room charges for various reasons. Sometimes it is for their own money management. Sometimes they don’t want to leave a card on file for room charges or have the hotel put a hold on their card. Sometimes they see it as a security precaution, erroneously thinking that if they don’t charge anything to their room, nothing will be charged and they don’t have to check their bill when they check out. I charge as many of my expenses as possible to my room. This is why.
Although the Rewards say to “Redeem by December 5”, the current Travel Window is only through September 30, 2021. There is generally a lot of availability between now and then. I’d expect the travel windows to extend a bit further soon.
As a general rule, Comp Room Rewards are not available for weekends, although Park MGM is showing the weekend of September 10&11 as available. The 25% and Fixed Rate discount Rewards are available for almost every day. You can usually get just as good a deal if not better simply by logging in to your Mlife account or using a readily available deal from a site like my MarksLasVegasDeals.com site.
Many people still aren’t comfortable heading to Las Vegas or other gaming destinations yet, so they don’t have a way to use their myVEGAS Loyalty Points for Rewards. MyVEGAS is giving you a few options with their myVEGAS Rewards @Home Fall Frenzy Giveaways, including a rent raffle which will cover your rent for a year.
There are two Reward options for this. One is a single entry for 1000LPs. The other is five entries for 5000Lps. Each of those are limited to 17 Rewards per account, so you can get a maximum of 102 entries for player. Entries must be received by November 4th and the winner will be contacted between November 5th and 8th.
