Total Rewards Summerfest Tournaments

Winterfest and Summerfest Tournaments used to be a perk of having Total Rewards Platinum status or above.  Platinum tier members were guaranteed entry to  a tournament and 2 comped nights. Diamond and SevenStar members were guaranteed entry and 3 comped nights.  The tournaments went away for a year or two.  They are back, but now they are invitation only and based upon your play. If you are interested in the tournaments, but haven’t received an offer code, I suggest contacting your Total Rewards rep.

 Here is the list of Summerfest Tournaments for 2015:

• Bring a friend and they can purchase up to three entries into any Summerfest Tournament for $20 each
• Tournament registration days: July 9 – 10, July 27 – 28, August 10 – 11 and August 17 – 18 respectively

Hotel nights listed are for invited guests. The $20 entries available for friends and other guests do not include a room.

The winner from each table received $50 in FreePlay and the  players who had the largest final chip stacks at the of the day received much larger FreePlay amounts.  Each day started a completely new tournament.

  1. I would like to know what are the payouts and how many guests on average normally play these tournaments. I have received an invitation but I’m not sure if it’s worth the trip. Thanks

    1. I don’t have those numbers readily available, but the total prize pool in each tournament is $75,000 and the events are well attended. Your odds of winning a lot are not good. Remember, you can bring a friend and they can enter the tournament for $20. There just isn’t that much value.
      I would not make a special effort to go to a Summerfest tournament, so if you are wondering whether it is worth the trip, it probably isn’t. If you are already considering a trip and the dates are convenient, it is a nice option. The dates do work well for me, so I am playing one of the tournaments.
