If you are looking for a nice little suite with a jacuzzi for a special occasion I recommend checking out TI’s Petite Suite.
There was a time when TI was a reliable home base for me. That was long ago. I’m not a fan of some of the things Phil Ruffin did to it after buying it from MGM. The loss of higher end dining like Social House and Isla and the addition of what was at the time one of the highest resort fees in Las Vegas were enough to keep me from going back.
I still remember their Petite Suite as being one of the better deals around, though. myVEGAS and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway have added tickets to the Kobalt 400 race, which is part of the annual Las Vegas NASCAR Weekend. The Kobalt 400 is on Sunday, March 8, 2015. The current Rewards include seat in Section 4, Blue for the discounted price of $48 (the regular price is $69), a pass to the Neon Garage at the infield ($75 value), and 2 free tickets to the Kobalt 400.
It looks like the Pawn Stars empire may be expanding a bit more. Rick Harrison is planning a Container Park type dining and retail area adjacent to the Gold & Silver Pawn shop. As long as everything is approved, the plan is to have it open by the end of the year.
Goldstar, an online ticket discounter, is offering half price tickets for Mythbusters: Behind the Myths at the Orleans Arena on Saturday June 21st at 7pm. Regular tickets are $53.79-$80.55. Through Goldstar they are $25-$40.
I saw the show at the Venetian a few years ago and highly recommend it for fans of the show. They do a few experiments, tell a few behind the scenes tales and have a lot of audience interaction. It is very family friendly.
