Mlife Big Buck Hunter promo at Aria

Aria currently has a promotion running where you will get $10 in Freeplay if you earn 25 Mlife points playing the Big Buck Hunter slot machine.  25 Mlife points is $50 of coin in.
This is running for a very limited time, but it is worth checking out. Here is a picture of the promotion sign I saw by Aria’s Mlife booth.

For more info on Mlife and Mlife points, visit my MGM Resorts’ Mlife Players Club post.

Social Savings in Las Vegas

Almost every casino has Facebook, TwitterFoursquare and SMS-text based platforms to let you know what they have to offer and to send you special discounts and promotions.

MGM Resorts has also created iPhone and Android apps with casino details and special offers. They are basically miniature versions of the casino’s full website (including property maps so you can find your way around!). The apps even let you make room and dining reservations. MGM Resorts has made a separate app for each of their casinos. If you are only interested in their shopping or entertainment options, they have the Shop MGM Resorts and the Entertainment of Las Vegas apps just for that.

Total Rewards Dining Discount

Total Rewards now gives you a discount when dining at their buffets, cafes and many other casual dining spots.  The program is currently in effect at all Caesars Entertainment buffets (like Carnival World Buffet at the Rio and Flavors, The Buffet at Harrah’s) and most of the cafes.  The program should be fully implemented by April 1, 2012.

The discounted prices are clearly marked on the menus.  As a general rule, if the casino owns the restaurant you can probably get a discount by showing your Total Rewards card.  This includes places like the All American Bar & Grille at the Rio and Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill at Harrah’s in addition to the buffets and cafes. Planet Dailies, the cafe at Planet Hollywood is not participating.

Another way to look at this is that Caesars Entertainment owned restaurants in Las Vegas are going to charge you more if you don’t join their Total Rewards players club. The Total Rewards card is free and there is no obligation to gamble in order to get the discounted price.
