M Resort daily $1000 guarantee poker tournaments

UPDATE: In August 2013, the M Resort closed its poker room and replaced it with a slot tournament area.

According to the M Resort’s Facebook page, the M Resort poker room is running daily $1000 guarantee poker tournaments again.  They are daily at 10am and 6pm. The buy in is $60 ($47+ $13 entry fee). That means 78% goes into the prize pool.  It only requires 22 players in order to get a prize pool over $1000, so this is really more of a marketing ploy, but the poker room is nice and that $13 entry fee is lower than that of $60 tournaments on the Strip. For example, Bally’s $60 tournaments charge an $18 entry fee, meaning only $42 of your $60 goes into the prize pool.
There are no details on the M Resort website, but you can call the poker room at 702-797-1777 for more information.
