Royal Rewards Players Club at the Plaza and Las Vegas Club

post updated on Sept. 26, 2014

The Royal Rewards Players Club is used at the Plaza Hotel and Casino and Las Vegas Club downtown. The basic structure is similar to other players clubs like Mlife and Total Rewards. Points are used to determine free play and comps. Tier credits are used to advance your tier status.
Royal Rewards Points and Tier Credits are earned at the same rate.
For video poker, $3 of coin-in = 1 Point and 1 Tier Credit
When playing slots, bingo and “all other [electronic] games”, $1 of coin-in = 1 Point and 1 Tier Credit
Comps for table games are not disclosed, but they are based upon your average bet, the odds of the game and the length of your play.
Tier Credits for table games vary based on the game as well, but you can expect to earn 125 Tier Credits for 1 hour of blackjack with an average bet of $25.

1250 points gives you $5 in free play, comps or cash (cashback available for King and Ace tiers). That equals a 0.4% return on your coin in if you are playing slots. Points expire after 8 months of inactivity, so I suggest using them before the end of each trip.

New members can get up to $100 of their first day’s loss back in freeplay with their “$100 On Us” promotion. Players get one half of their loss back on the second day of play and the other half on third day of play.

  1. I love that they have a tier matching program. Cosmopolitian did this as well when they first opened. This is really popular in Atlantic City but haven’t seen many casinos in Vegas do this.

    1. I took full advantage of the Cosmo tier matching. I loved getting the “artifacts” and was sad to see them go. I have let my status lapse, but I still enjoy visiting and playing bartop VP there.
