The Riviera is well past its prime, but it is trying to bounce back.
I have never stayed there and have only visited the casino twice.  Now that the Pinball Hall of Fame has 52 working pinball machines at the Riv, I’ll check it out again.  The Riviera is still in a bit of a no man’s land, between Wynn and Stratosphere, with no Monorail access and very spotty taxi service, but this does give me a new reason to visit.  That and their Single Deck 3:2 Blackjack.
