myVEGAS 2-night Comp Room Rewards added for the Summer

myVEGAS has added 2-night Comp Room Rewards for the Summer. The dates are almost identical for each resort offering the 2-night comp, but there are a few inconsistencies. Also,  Aria, Bellagio and Mandalay Bay are not offering the 2-night Reward.

  1. Hi, I’m trying to get the Vdara 2 night comp for august but I do not see it, only the one night comp, can anyone help?

  2. I have a question. I am new to the MyVegas reward program. I noticed that all of the current hotel rewards have a “Reward must be used by December 2017” date. Does that mean that we have to be checked in by the date or we need to make a reservation by the date? I was wanting to go in February 2018. Thanks for any input and help. 🙂

    1. Hi Crystal.
      You would need your trip/stay to be before the end of December (or the specified date in December if they get that specific). I don’t expect Room Rewards that include availability dates in February to be released until late November or early December.
      For future reference, once you use your LP’s to get a Comp Room Reward, you usually have 90 days to make your reservation before the Reward expires. That reservation can be for dates further out than 90 days, but it is limited to the availability dates listed on the availability calendars and must happen within the Travel Dates specified on that Reward. (It sounds worse than it actually is).

    1. My guess is that the Fall 2-Night Rewards will come out in September.

      1. I will be in Las Vegas from September 13 till the 19th. If I use a two comp room on the 13th and 14th can I use it again on the 17th and 18th?

        1. The quick answer is no.
          Here is the longer answer. The 2-night comp Rewards are limited to one per player, so you definitely could not use it at the same hotel. You might be able to use a different 2-night Reward at a different hotel for the 17th and 18th, but it would be a big gamble since you wouldn’t be able to get that Reward until after your 2-night stay on the 13th and 14th is completed. Since they are limited (and you might not even be able to see that Reward while you are in Las Vegas) I would not recommend taking that gamble.
          You could still use a discounted room rate Reward, though.

    I don’t seem to notice any comp rooms either. I live in the Los Angeles area. Would being from LA signify a local to myvegas?

    1. I don’t think being in LA would cause that. I’m not certain, but if the app can’t figure out where you are, it might limit the choices to only those allowed in Las Vegas.

  5. I am not seeing an option under Rewards on MyVegas for comp room for any hotels. Is there something I am not doing right? Please advise. Thank you

    1. You can get to them a few different ways. If you know which hotel you want (like Mirage), you can click the Partners tab and then scroll to the particular hotel (like Mirage). If you are just looking for the hotels/room Rewards, click the Categories tab and then the Rooms tab. All of the Room Rewards for all of the hotels will be listed there.

      1. That’s what i’m doing but i don’t see a reward for comp nights. Like for MGM Grand, i only see 5 rewards but no reward that says comp night. I went to all the hotels and there was no reward that says comp night. ?

        1. That’s odd. Are you by any chance in Las Vegas right now? Comp Room Rewards are filtered out when you are in Las Vegas. Some of the other Rewards are also filtered out.

            1. Yep.
              They don’t want locals to use those Rewards and they figure that visitors will have booked their Room Rewards before they get into town (at least that’s my thought on it).
              It typically isn’t a problem as long as you plan for it. I did have a trip where I planned on using a Mandalay Bay Foundation Room Reward, but it wasn’t visible once I got into Las Vegas. Now, I get a few more Rewards than I can actually use before each trip and just cancel the ones I didn’t use on my trip.
