Since the casinos are closed due to COVID-19 and will probably stay that way for a bit longer, M life Rewards is extending current tier statuses through January 31, 2022.

They are also revamping the program calendars. The new Tier Earning Year will be January 1 – December 31 and the new Tier Benefits Year will be February 1 – January 31. This basically gives you a 1 month pad if you didn’t renew your status and matches the Caesars Rewards calendars. The previous calendars were both October 1 – September 30.

While it helps you extend your current status for this year, it also makes the earning calendar going forward a little more user friendly since it matches the regular calendar year. Remember that while your tier status is effective from the moment you earn it, the tier credits are technically being earned towards status for the next year. On January 1, 2021 you will start earning tier credits towards your 2022 status (which would expire January 31, 2023)

They are also suspending Point and Express Comp expiration through September 30, 2020. Current offers may expire, but MGM tends to send out new offers on a regular basis. I would expect to see a lot of new offers in your inbox once they reopen.
