From January 2nd through January 31st, 2013, the Cosmopolitan will be running a promotion where you get a free pass to the Wicked Spoon buffet if you earn 500 Identity Points in one day on slot and video poker machines. If you earn 800 Identity Points in one day you get 2 passes.  You get to keep the points as well.

You can achieve 500 Identity Points by putting $750 through a slot machine. $1200 through a slot machine will get you 800 Identity Points. Points earned at table games or through purchases do not count towards this promotion.

Dinner at the Wicked Spoon is $37 per person. The weekday brunch is $23 and the weekend brunch is $41.  Identity Points are worth 1 cent in comps so this deal lets you enjoy one of the best buffets in Las Vegas by earning what would have been $5 in comps (or $8 in comps for 2 buffets). Plus, you get to keep the Points. I know I’ll be taking advantage of this.
