While Las Vegas has a lot of burger places already, I was happy to see Bobby’s Burger Palace open in front of the Mandarin Oriental. The burgers are good and affordable; and since you order before finding a table, it tends to be quicker than Burger Bar and Gordon Ramsay BurGR.
The signature burger is the Crunchburger, which is a cheeseburger with potato chips on top. You can also add potato chips to any burger for free if you want to “crunchify” it. Most of the burgers are named for the cities that inspired them. Every month they have a special burger of the month, too.

My go to burger is the Bobby Blue Burger with bleu cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato. bleu cheese is melted on the burger as it cooks and then they add more bleu cheese crumbles before serving. It can get a little messy, but it tastes great.

The Vegas burger is a simple burger with white American cheese, Fresno red chiles and barbecue potato chips. The chiles were spicier than I expected, but it made for a very nice burger. I’d have it again if I were looking for something with a little more zing. All of the burgers are available in salad form on a bed of mixed greens and without the bun.

I have a weakness for grilled cheese sandwiches. Bobby’s Burger Palace can take care of that, too. The Griddled Cheese is a gooey mess of melted American, Swiss, Cheddar and Monterey Jack with a tomato. I say that with affection. It tastes great, but about 1/3 of the cheese will ooze out the sides. I tend to prefer basic grilled cheese sandwiches (even adding a tomato is a stretch for me) but I was happily surprised by their Griddled Pimento & Bacon sandwich. The pimento cheese had a good tanginess and it is hard to go wrong with bacon.

BBP rounds out the meal with regular fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings. Regular fries come with a chipotle aioli sauce. The sweet potato fries come with a horseradish honey mustard. Another neat feature of Bobby’s Burger Palace is their selection of ketchups and sauces at your table which you can use for your burgers or as a dipping sauce. They have a regular ketchup, chipotle ketchup, burger sauce, jalapeño sauce and mustard. I like mixing a little jalapeño sauce with the regular ketchup for my fries.
BBP has a good selection of beer as well as milkshakes. The beer list includes Blue Moon, Fat Tire, Stella Artois and Heineken. The dark chocolate shake was surprisingly thick and rich. I’d consider stopping by just to get another one. They offer a few spiked shakes, too.
In keeping with the times, BBP gives you the option of ordering online if you want. https://bobbysburgerpalace.alohaorderonline.com/
