TravelZoo is offering a 40% discount on tickets to Penn and Teller at the Rio. Penn and Teller put on a great show and I recommend it to just about everybody. There is some comedy. There is magic. There is audience participation that doesn’t embarrass anyone. The show is constantly evolving as they add new tricks so it is worth going again even if you have already seen them (and liked it). They do a meet and greet in the lobby after every show where they sign things, pose for pictures and give you as much time with them as you need (within reason, of course).
Here is the TravelZoo link. The link on their page took me to Ticketmaster, but did not work properly. If the link does not work for you or you would prefer to book over the phone you can call 888-746-7784, press 1 and mention offer code PTZOO.
This offer is good through Feb 27, 2013
I have seen a few hits to my site by people searching for lists of Mlife’s myVEGAS Facebook game Rewards and how to claim the rewards.
Finding a list of available rewards is easy. When you are playing the myVEGAS game (as well as myVEGAS Blackjack and myKONAMI), click on the “Rewards” tab and it will show you the “Featured” rewards. You can also sort them by “Partners” (Mirage, Luxor, House of Blues, Monorail, etc), “Category” (shows, rooms, dining, etc) or “Price” (the number of Loyalty Points required). New Years in Las Vegas can be a great experience as long as you are prepared for it.
Here is a quick list of things to be prepared for.
1. With New Years Eve landing on a Monday, it will basically turn into a 4 day party starting on Friday the 28th. Expect large crowds and long lines everywhere you go from the 28th through the 1st.
2. Starting around 8pm on the 31st, most hotels on the Strip go on a mini lock-down and only let in hotel guests and people holding tickets to New Years Eve parties at that hotel. Continue reading New Years in Las Vegas
I’m planning a trip to the Neon Museum soon and came across a great view of it on Google Maps. I just thought I would share it for those of you who want to get a better sense of the museum. Zoom in to get the view or use this link to open it already zoomed in with a new window:
